Work we usually map in hr and people
- Post jobs and schedule interviews
- Prepare offers and new-hire paperwork
- Run onboarding with IT and managers
- Send payroll and benefit changes
- Track leave and time-off requests
- Answer employee policy questions
Where work usually waits
- A new hire waits for a laptop and accounts because IT was told late.
- Payroll changes wait for a manager's approval by email.
- Policy answers depend on one person who knows the history.
Tasks AI can help with
- Schedule interviews and send reminders
- Draft offer letters from an approved template
- Build the onboarding checklist for each new hire
- Draft answers to common policy questions for HR to approve
These are examples. Your own list comes from your team's answers. A person stays in charge of each task and makes the judgment calls.
Questions we ask your team
- What happens between a signed offer and a person's first day?
- Which teams do you depend on, and how do you ask them?
- Which employee questions do you answer most often?
- Which tasks only you know how to do?
How the one-week map works
- Days 1 to 3: your team talks. Each person answers a few questions about their own work, on their phone or by typing. It takes about 20 minutes.
- Days 4 to 5: we map the work. Every task, who does it, how many hours it takes and where work waits. The people who do the work check it.
- Days 6 to 7: you pick what AI does. A ranked list of tasks AI can help with and the hours each one takes today. You choose. A person stays in charge of each one.
What you get on day 7
- One map of who does what in the department.
- A written card for each task: what starts it, the steps, who gets the result, how often it happens and how long it takes.
- The hand-offs where work waits.
- The tasks only one person knows.
- A ranked list of tasks AI can help with, each with a named owner.
Every number comes from your team's own answers. You keep the readout and the files.
Questions and answers
What is HR process mapping?
It is a written map of the people team's recurring work: hiring, onboarding, payroll and benefit changes, leave and employee questions, with owners, steps, time and hand-offs.
Do you collect employee records?
No. We map how the work is done. We ask people to describe tasks, not to share personal records.
Which HR tasks can AI help with?
Interview scheduling, template-based letters, onboarding checklists and draft answers to common questions. HR approves anything sent to a person.
